#BlogTour ~ Deep Dirty Truth by Steph Broadribb @CrimeThrillGirl @OrendaBooks @AnneCater

A big welcome to my stop on the blog tour for Deep Dirty Truth by Steph Broadribb.

This is the third in the Lori Anderson series and is published by Orenda Books. The eBook was released on 5th November 2018 with the paperback following on 5th January 2019.

Deep Dirty Truth (Lori Anderson)

A price on her head. A secret worth dying for. Just 48 hours to expose the truth…

Single-mother bounty hunter Lori Anderson has finally got her family back together, but her new-found happiness is shattered when she’s snatched by the Miami Mob – and they want her dead. Rather than a bullet, they offer her a job: find the Mob’s ‘numbers man’ – Carlton North – who’s in protective custody after being forced to turn federal witness against them.

If Lori succeeds, they’ll wipe the slate clean and the price on her head – and those of her family – will be removed. If she fails, they die.

With North due in court in forty-eight hours, Lori sets off across Florida, racing against the clock to find him and save her family. Only in this race the prize is more deadly – and the secret she shares with JT more dangerous – than she ever could have imagined.

In this race only the winner gets out alive…

A big thank you to Steph Broadribb and Anne Cater for issuing me with my review copy of the book and for inviting me to take part on the blog tour.

Well I think it’s safe to say that the author has successfully added another superb addition to the already stellar Lori Anderson series. This book and the character for that matter, just gets better with each outing. Although this can be read as a standalone, I would highly recommend reading the first two books in the series to understand the characters and their backgrounds more. Also the books are SUPERB!

We follow Lori shortly after the events of the last book, as she struggles to try and get some normality back into her and her daughter, Dakota’s lives with the added addition of the lovely JT. Can they finally live normally as a family? Obviously this doesn’t happen for too long as she is snatched by some incredibly unsavoury characters with a score to settle. She is tasked with an almost impossible sounding job or face the consequences along with her family….

From the first page, we are thrown into Lori’s Bounty Hunter world again and what a brilliant, enticing and exciting world to be in…… It is full to the brim of shady mafia characters with her previous life, once again the forefront of the plot. Some characters are nice, some not so nice but they are so richly described you can picture them instantly as though you were watching the film version in your head.

Steph Broadribb has successfully developed Lori through each book which is why this has become a firm favourite of mine already and I am hoping there will be more to come from Lori (and JT!) as there are definitely more criminals out there for her to reprimand!

Absolutely recommended from me!
