#BlogTour ~ Meet Me In Cockleberry Bay @nicolamay1 @RaRaResources

A big welcome to my stop on the blog tour for Meet Me In Cockleberry Bay by Nicola May.

Meet Me In Cockleberry Bay was published in eBook on 5th July 2019.

Meet me in Cockleberry Bay LATEST

The cast of the runaway bestseller, The Corner Shop in Cockleberry Bay, are back – including Rosa, Josh, Mary, Jacob, Sheila, new mum Titch and, last but by no means least, Hot, the adorable dachshund.

Newly wed, and with her inherited corner shop successfully up and running, Rosa Smith seems to have all that anyone could wish for. But the course of true love never did run smooth and Rosa’s suspicions that her husband is having an affair have dire consequences.

Reaching rock bottom before she can climb back up to the top, fragile Rosa is forced to face her fears, addiction and jealousy head on.

With a selection of meddling locals still at large, a mystery fire and Titch’s frantic search for the real father of her sick baby, the second book in this enchanting series will take you on a further unpredictable journey of self-discovery.

Thank you to Rachel Gilbey and the publisher for issuing me with my review copy of the book and for inviting to take part on the blog tour.

Aww it was lovely to be reunited with the lovely characters of Cockleberry Bay especially by favourite little dog – Hot! He has a starring role in this book and without giving away too much, he becomes a little hero!

I really loved the first in the series, so I was overjoyed when I heard there had been another book written. I felt like I was reuniting with friends that I maybe hadn’t seen in a while but caught up straight away. Although a small town, Cockleberry Bay is a hive of activity with a lot going on that keeps you completely on your toes. Although this storyline delves into a darker side of Rosa’s personality, Nicola May has written this so well that you can’t help but root for Rosa and hope she comes out of the other side.

Although still a relatively new habitant of the Bay, we come to learn through the other characters and residents, just how much Rosa means to them and how they all come together to help her through her issues is particularly heartwarming.

Nicola May has managed to write a brilliant follow up to her first successful Cockleberry Bay book and I can’t wait to read more as I feel a particular love for this flawed but well meaning character.
